In 2019 Stourgarden Limited received grant funding support from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development. For an Onion Packhouse Expansion Project.

The project allows for an increase to total business capacity for handling British Onions and will bring about a simpler route to market for local farmers and growers. This is in turn will facilitate increased growth with new and existing customers while the advantages of such growth will filter down to a wider area to benefit local people and business.
